ISP lookup

Find out which internet provider, company or hosting service an address belongs to, from routing data and the registry record.

ISP lookup

Loading the isp lookup. It runs in your browser.

Three names that can differ

The lookup shows the first two with their sources and never guesses the third.

  • The AS organisation: the network that announces the address in routing.
  • The registry holder: the organisation the block is registered to.
  • The retail brand: the company the customer pays, which may resell another network.

Hosting or home?

If the network belongs to a known cloud or hosting company the result says so: traffic from it is very likely a server, a VPN or a bot rather than a person at home.

Questions

Why does my provider show as another company?
Many providers run on a wholesale network or a parent company's address space. The registry shows who holds the addresses.
